Program of Study

In order to earn the graduate certificate in Genocide and Holocaust Studies, students must successfully complete 15 credits (typically five courses). Students are encouraged to select courses that are most appropriate to meeting their individual learning goals. All courses are offered online in eight-week sessions, and require interaction among class members and faculty through forums and chat rooms. Each semester, a different Special Topics course is offered that focuses on a particular aspect of genocide; students may take several of these courses. The one required course for all students is SO506 Genocide in Comparative Perspective.
