Dr. John Michael Atherton navigates the high ropes course in Olmouc, four hours by train east of Prague in the Czech Republic. He presented a paper entitled "Epistemology on the Run" to the 33rd annual conference of the International Association for the Philosophy of Sport at Palaky University. Members arrived from Canada, Australia, Great Britain, Russia, Germany, Slovokia, Slovenia, Argentina, Japan, Taiwan, the USA, and, of course, the Czech Republic. The participants see in sport something that has engaged people of all eras and in every land. Those who study this topic are blessed to study something they also enjoy.
