Art Program
The arts have always been central to the Seton Hill experience. Here students find a community of faculty and students, dedicated to exploring their talents and interests in the arts, and at the same time seeking to find a connection and a meaning for themselves in the larger world. Seton Hill has programs that will develop your specific interests and talents as an artist, musician, actor, teacher, therapist, technician, and in many other ways, limited only by your imagination. Come and see what we have to offer.

Seton Hill Difference
Creative, innovative, imaginative - this is what it means to be a Seton Hill University visual art student. At Seton Hill, learning and creativity go hand in hand. Here, you will receive a strong creative foundation in art as well as a strong liberal arts education to prepare you for careers in creative fields. No matter which degree you pursue, a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Fine Arts, you will enjoy access to outstanding instructors and a variety of art studios offering experience in media from paint to pixels.
At Seton Hill you will be taught by art faculty who are exhibiting artists themselves, committed to sharing their work regionally, nationally and internationally. As we are a small university, you will have the chance to get to know your professors and classmates, and to make new friends that will become your professional mentors and colleagues in years to come.
You will also have opportunities for public exhibition of your work. Seton Hill's Harlan Gallery is a professional venue where student work is exhibited at the end of each semester. In addition, Harlan Gallery offers a variety of exhibitions by renowned artists.
We look forward to talking with you about joining our creative visual art community at Seton Hill! Make an appointment for a portfolio review today.
