Adult Degree Program

Funny how the older you get, the faster time seems to tick away. If your education is on hold, career opportunities are also ticking away, faster than you think.

Seton Hill University's Adult Degree Program can actually put time on your side by helping you balance the demands of employment, family and finances. Our academic format is sensitive to adults like you seeking the personal flexibility your busy schedule requires.

What is the Adult Degree Program?
Every year, millions of adult students successfully return to college, balancing the demands of employment, family, and finances. Seton Hill University's Adult Degree Program (ADP) was designed with these responsibilities in mind. The program is comprised mainly with students over the age of 24 with full-time responsibilities either professionally or inside the home.

What is the course format?
Typically students take courses in sessions versus semesters. There are five sessions per year, and each session is eight weeks long. Classes meet every Saturday for eight weeks. Morning classes begin at 8:15 a.m. and conclude by 11:45 a.m. Afternoon classes begin at 12:30 p.m. and conclude by 4:00 p.m. There are typically two sessions per 16-week semester, therefore, ADP students can complete 12 credits per academic semester. Students may earn additional credits by taking additional courses in the evening in the traditional 16-week semester format.
