Tutoring Center

Seton Hill's Tutoring Center provides assistance to students who are developing the skills needed for independent learning. Tutoring service is available by appointment and on a walk-in basis.

About the Tutors

Tutors are Seton Hill University students who have been selected by course instructors. Faculty members make recommendations based on the tutor's knowledge of the subject area and ability to communicate that knowledge effectively. Tutors are trained through a series of workshops, which emphasize techniques for diagnosing and meeting the needs of student learners. Tutors consult regularly with faculty about course content and faculty expectations of student performance.
