Seton Hill University : Scholarships

Gabriel Burda Memorial Scholarship
Founded in 1979 with a gift from the estate of Mr. Burda.
Awards totaling $8,000 are awared annually to incoming and continuing music students.

Margaret Collier Music Scholarship
Founded in 1970 to honor the memory of Margret Collier, '38 at the request of her sister, Mary Cathering Collier, '34. The award is generally continued for an individual student for four years.

Milfred A. and Carl G. Gardner Scholarship Fund
This fund was created and endowed under the will of Milfred Alvine Gardner to provide needed financial assistance to outstanding Westmoreland County students who major in music at Seton Hill University.

Alice Edwards Riley '30 Endowed Scholarship Fund for Music
The Alice Edwards Riley fund provides scholarship assistance to students
majoring in Music Therapy or Sacred Music at Seton Hill University.

Westmoreland Choral Society Scholarship
Available to singers who major in voice at Seton Hill University.

Westmoreland Symphonic Winds Scholarship
Available to students majoring in sacred music at Seton Hill University.

Virginia Baird Highberger Scholarship
Available to students majoring in Sacred Music at Seton Hill University.

Music Performance Scholarship
Available to students majoring in music at Seton Hill University.

String Quartet Scholarship
Availble to string majors at Seton Hill University, selected by audition to play in the Westmoreland Symphony Orchestra.
