Audition Requirements

Entrance to the degree programs in music at Seton Hill University is by audition. Once a student has applied and been accepted by the University, an audition should be scheduled through the admissions office or by contacting the music program office at 724/838-4280. Auditions are scheduled by appointment throughout the academic year. Students who successfully audition for the music program are automatically eligible for one of several music scholarships.

IN ADDITION, ALL STUDENTS WILL BE ASKED TO TAKE A THEORY PLACEMENT TEST.

Entering music students whom piano is not the major instrumnet
are urged to begin piano study as soon as possible.
